Polychromatic ImpSAR
Polychromatic ImpSAR Imaging
Polychromatic ImpSAR exploits the fact that it's extremely large bandwidth can be broken into multitudes of lower bandwidth signals, which can then be processed independently. This results in the generation of a multitude of independent lower-resolution images. This capability, in many cases, accentuates certain features of the target, where resonance phenomenon occurs.
The illustrated example shown on the top left presents several images, which are obtained by processing the full bandwidth (Full), and various sub-bands of the ImpSAR signal respectively.
